80 Series Booster Upgrade Kit for 40 & 60 Series Landcruiser
This kit upgrades the braking system for 40 Series Landcruisers by supplying a double diaphragm brake booster to replace the factory single diaphragm one (if it even came with one). The laser-cut spacer plate offsets the booster from the firewall for ideal placement and fitting.
This kit is only for use on vehicles with DISC BRAKES factory or aftermarket
The Booster is also a direct fit for 60 series Landcruiser with no spacer required.
YEAR AND MODEL GUIDE
EARLY 40 SERIES VEHICLES WITH 3 BOLT MASTER (pre 1974), kit is supplied with THE EARLY SPACER NOT THE 20MM SPACER
Disc Brake Front/Drum Rear will run a Late 40 series master Cylinder
Disc Brake Front /Disc Brake Rear Run a later Landcruiser all alloy master cylinder
INSTALLATION:
Please note: Some minor mechanical knowledge is required to fit this upgrade kit yourself, the push rod on the booster will also need to be trimmed between 12mm to 15mm to avoid fouling on the brake pedal.(40 series)
